I have some fantastic news to share with you. Over the last few months i have been developing a range of handcrafted hair accessories to bring a touch of luxury to everyday life.
As many of you know, I am very proud to be a Sussex based milliner and to celebrate I am naming our hair accessory range after some of our local iconic towns and cities.
So we have...
The Chichester Knotted Headband - inspired by The Cross, an octagonal market cross at the centre of Chichester high street. The Chichester headband is the perfect 'pop-on' hair accessory and and will dress up any outfit.
The Arundel Headband - I was inspired by a gorgeous piece of Liberty of London fabric that I was given about 10 years ago. The colours and beautiful sheen reminds me of some of the gorgeous fabrics and tapestries that you might in some of our castles and stately homes. The Arundel comes in two styles, a flat bow and knot design to suit the drape and style of the fabrics.
The Brighton reversible headband - this is a multi-wear hair accessory that can be worn in so many different ways. The fabric can be flipped around the central core making it reversible so or you can change your look depending on your outfit or mood. You can even go for a half-way twist to showcase both fabrics. The Brighton headband also comes with a double sided bow which you can knot around the band in various positions for a playful look. The possibilities are endless!
Our original 'Goodwood' wired headwrap, which I originally created for a rockabilly look, is great fun as it can be moulded in so many different ways. Not only does it stay in place, thanks to it's internal wire, it also allows you to style time-travel - from 1950's pin-up style, to 1970's hippie glamour, to the modern day with our current headband trend. Our Goodwood headwrap is also a great solution for 'bad hair days' and to cover those lockdown roots.
Our range of handcrafted hair accessories make idea gifts and can be made to order in your choice of fabrics. I am also offering a 'heirloom' service, to create beautiful hair accessories from client's own fabrics or clothing. For example, from a prom or bridesmaid dress or from a favourite item of clothing that holds special memories. I have recently been commissioned to create a headband for a birthday present using some fabric a client has given me from her daughters childhood party dress.
