This time last week Goodwood Revival was in full swing. Thousands of people were dressed in their finest vintage outfits at the famous historic motor race meeting.
At Goodwood Revival, you will find me soaking up the atmosphere at the fairground, marketplace or watching the dancing - there is so much to see. My 'must-go' to place is the Earl Court Motor Show which, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of 'The Italian Job', was themed with a recreation of the filmset.
So what did I wear? Normally I opt for a 1940's style outfit, but this year I went for 2 different looks. To complement the 1960's mini theme I sourced this beautiful flowery vintage dress - topped off with my own black floppy hat and patent boots.
My second outfit was created using a 1970's maxi dress with the hat I designed for Ascot - the combination ended up producing a bit of 'Mary Poppins' vibe. Although the Edwardian look is a bit ahead of the traditional 1940's - 60's Goodwood Revival style I thought it was a bit of fun and it definitely created quite a bit of attention!
Until next time, happy hatting!, Isabella.
